Educational day on hunting and snaring, and a tracking hike.

26 people attended. The keynote speaker Len Dickinson offered a great and well rounded presentation on hunting, conservation, and enjoying the outdoors. Some interesting issues were discussed along with videos and slide show.

Bill Barrett had some great stories on snaring squirrels.

At this point we were all treated to wild food chili and many snacks and treats provided by Brenda Trudel. Thank-you!!!

The afternoon was spent looking for animal tracks and practicing identifying species by trail pattern and track width with Chad Clifford.

The new animal tracks ruler worked out great!

Thanks to the Lanark Wild Food Club ( for organizing the day and having voluntary donations made to the Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust.
