Hope all has been well and more this summer for everyone!
A few folks are hoping to get together here on the weekend of October 16-18 with the idea of exploring earth skills (bushcraft, permaculture…whatever). No schedule, just get like minded folks together, share, hike, learn, or hang out by a fire. No formal instructors or anything, but let any lessons just arise based on interests at the time. Perhaps make it an annual thing…..see how it goes. Some are thinking of just coming out for a day/afternoon and others stay overnight(s) etc.. Part of the idea is to get people with woods experience together to offer/share the skills if the opportunity presents itself. So offering this mostly to friends and past students is a good start for this sort of gathering. Brittany and Alister of RootsToFruits came up with this great idea for the fall. Can’t wait!
Anyway let me know if interested, be nice to have you guys up again–we do require reservations to help us organize, keep in touch, or change date if needed. This is not a course and has no fee. All food, water, camping supplies are the individuals responsibility.
Oh yes, and we have a name for it:
Blueberry Mountain Earth Skills Gathering
Best wishes and peace,
