March Break & Every Weekend for Spring at Fulton’s Pancake House

Foreground: rope making gear box. I am on the shaving horse making axe handles, bows, flutes and other tools. This new shed has furs and other historic elements for viewing.

I am at Fulton's Pancake House every weekend and through March Break doing various bush craft and maple camp demos along side various activities such as horse pulled sled rides; face painting; live music; trails; interpretation in maple sap processing camp and more.

For my part, I will be on the expanded Heritage Maple Path working with some traditional tools; rock boiling sap into syrup the old way; rope making; making axe handles, bows, flutes, and more. People will have the opportunity to: watch demos; ask questions; make their own rope on a traditional rope maker; make a wooden spoon by using hot coals from the fire; cook bannock and more.

Spread the word as this is an ideal spot to come spend the day ...maple products of all kinds (syrup taffy on snow is my fav.) and new Maple Shop open with Gilligallou Bird store also stocking some shelves. I will have tracking necklaces, animal tracks posters and rulers, and leather necklaces available too.
