Chad's Training:
I am  a wilderness skills and bushcraft instructor and natural sound recorder. While nature recording was mostly self taught, I did successfully take part in Cornell's Natural Sound Recordist field station workshop and lead MMLT's (land trust) for their soundscape biological monitoring program.   For bushcraft and survival, I trained under various internationally renowned experts such as: Tom Brown Jr. (author, tracker, survival school founder), Mors Kohanski (the foremost Boreal forest survival expert instructor), numerous outdoors pursuits training, various experts, elders (Inuit and other), and friends. As the owner and operator of Wilderness Rhythms, I offer advanced instruction in orienteering, learning animal tracks; wilderness survival skills; primitive bow making and more. He has authored instructional videos, e-books, an educational animal tracks poster and tracking tool, and was a consultant for a BBC survival series.  He holds a Masters degree in Recreation and is a qualified educator.
B. Natural Science; B.H.Outdoor Recreation (& Parks and Tourism); M.A. in experiential nature-based recreation; and a B.Education. Natural Sound recordist (certificate).

"It isn’t everyone who can step into the woods armed with nothing more than a pocket knife and their own wits and have the skills needed to survive. Chad Clifford is one of the few true remaining wilderness men – possessing the skills and knowledge to not only make primitive weapons and natural cordage, but also start a fire, track animals and build primitive shelters." Amy Hogue (EMC)
